Abstract [sv]

Denna forskning genomfördes under höstterminen 2014 och går ut på att belysa hederskontexten samt pojkar i relation till den i Sverige. I uppsatsen studeras yrkesverksamma som arbetar i relation till hedersrelaterade frågor. Utgångspunkten för studien är pojkar som befinner sig i en hederskontext. Studiens frågeställningar är: Vad innebär att leva i en hederskontext? Hur är det att leva i en hederskontext för en kille? Vilka möjligheter har unga killar som befinner sig i en hederskontext?

Studien är kvalitativ samt etnologisk. Metoden används för att inhämta det empiriska materialet som består av intervjuer. Analysen görs med hjälp av genusbaserade teorier. Studien visar informanters erfarenheter av hedersproblematik samt vilka insatser som finns idag för utsatta ungdomar med specifik fokus på unga killar. Resultatet visar att killar är en utsatt grupp som inte uppmärksammats tidigare, i svensk forskning har det fokuserats på unga tjejer som blir utsatta för hedersproblematik. Detta har lett till att insatser som införts har riktats mot tjejer och idag finns det en begränsad hjälp för utsatta killar. 

Abstract [en]

This research was carried out during the autumn term in 2014 and aims to highlight the honour context and boys who lives in it in Sweden. The research is based on the experience of professionals who work with honour related questions. The starting point for the study is boys who lives in honour related terms. The study is based in three questions; what is the meaning of living in a honour context? What is it like to live in a honour context for young men? How are the help possibilities for young men in a honour context?

The study is qualitative and ethnological. The method is used to obtain the empirical material that consists of interviews. The analysis is done using gender-based theories. The study shows the informants experience of honour related violence as well as what actions available today for vulnerable young people with a specific focus on young men. The result shows that young men are a vulnerable group which is not highlighted, the Swedish research has been focused on young girls who are victims of honour related violence. This has led to efforts in place has been directed towards girls and today there is a limited help for young men who are victims.
