Min essä beskriver några händelser en typisk dag på förskolan som vikarie och om hur arbetet ofta bedrivs i tysthet, genom praktik och erfarenhet. Jag visar hur det kan vara att arbeta utan att ha bestämda metoder och riktlinjer. Jag berättar om hur otrygg och osäker jag som pedagog blir av att vi inte har kommunicerat fram ett gemensamt förhållningssätt och arbetssätt, där regler och riktlinjer gjorts synliga för alla. Essän handlar om mina erfarenheter av tyst kunskap, dels som kunskap men också som den farliga tystnad jag upplever i arbetet på förskolan.

Jag vill undersöka om kommunikation och reflektion kan leda till kunskap och trygghet i arbetet och om de riktlinjer och metoder vi har fungerar och hur vi följer dem i förskolan.

Min metod har varit att med analogiskt tänkande undersöka förskolan genom jämförelser med näringslivet, vård och omsorg, skolan och med ridkonsten. Jag har också undersökt förskolans styrmedel och vissa tillägg. Jag har kommit fram till att mycket skulle kunna förbättras genom kommunikation och reflektion där riktlinjer och metoder arbetas fram ur läroplanens mål i processinriktat arbete. Den tysta kunskapen skulle göras mer medveten och arbetet kan på så sätt bli säkrare, tryggare och roligare när vi vet vad vi ska göra och hur vi ska utföra det. 

My essay describes some events that represents a typical day at work as a temporary employee, and evolves around how our work many times is being performed in silence, through practice and experience. I also show what working without specific methods and guidelines is like. I describe about how I become unsure and insecure  as a pedagogue by the fact that we do not communicate a common attitude and way of working, where rules and guidelines have been made visible to everyone. The essay is about my experience of tacit knowledge, partly as knowledge but also as the dangerous silence I experience at work at preschool.

I wish to examine whether communication and reflection could lead to knowledge and certainty in preschool and if the guidelines and methods we have are working and how we rule by them at preschool.

My method has been, by analogical thinking, to examine preschool in comparison with business, healthcare and school as well as with the art of riding. I have also examined the control instruments and some amendments to the preschool curriculum. I have reached the conclusion that much would be approved through communication and reflection where guidelines and methods would be worked out from the curriculum for preschool through processing procedure. The tacit knowledge would be made more conscious and working would, in that aspect, become more set, secure and more amusing once I get what I shall do and I know how to perform it.
