A studie in different kinds of writing as narratological and existential function in swedish young adult literature. Three novels are read against the background of typical motives such as searching for identity and breaking out from imprisonment in young adult literature.

Det här är en studie i dagboks-, brev- och diktskrivandets narratologiska och existentiella funktion i den moderna, svenska ungdomsromanen. Ett urval romaner diskuteras mot bakgrund av flickbokens och ungdomsromanens typiska motiv: identitetssökande–spegling och instängdhet–frigörelse.
