The purpose of this study was to look into different individuals' experiences of a language trip as well as the significance of the trip for them. This was done with a qualitative interview study that has generated 12 interviews and a qualitative survey study that has generated 40 answered surveys. By interviewing 12 different individuals and completing those with the 40 answered surveys the authors got a general picture of the subject. The results from the studies showed that the experience from the language trip has affected the participants positively and the majority would like to go on a language trip again for a longer period.
