Result list, result list on the wall, who is the fastest of them all? An essay about equality, justice and ethical consideration.

This is an academically researched essay, based on my professional experiences as a leisure time pedagogue. The point of departure of this essay is one particular incident, where I in my professional role, perceived that the school and I did not act in accordance with the equality goals and objectives set up by the school. Exploring topics such as equality, fairness and ethics, this essay questions how the professionals at the school in question handle and relate to these topics. Consulting a number of theories, this essay challenges my very own actions and reflects over the different ways I could have reacted and responded to this situation. In sum, this essay has arrived at the conclusion that there are several different ways in which I could have responded. The significant learning outcome is that I, in my professional role, need to see every student and their individuality, without prejudice and predisposed expectations based on stereotypes from my previous experiences.
