The purpose of the present work is to find out how teachers in leisuretime experience the part of the day when the children are in classroom, as a part of their working day. Even though work during the schoolday is not the main activity of leisuretime-teachers, it usually occupies more than half of the working day for them. During the schoolday, the leisuretime-teachers cooperates with the school- and pre-school classes. Using the phenomenological perspective, I will study the individual experiences of the leisuretime-teachers work during the schoolday. The study is qualitative and the empirical material has consisted of interviews by telephone with a municipality's employed leisuretime-teachers. The results in the work shows that the leisuretime-teachers have relatively different experiences of their own assignment during schoolday. The result also shows that none of the leisuretime-teachers work experience that they work with learning from a leisure pedagogical perspective during school hours.
