This article describes in what way the public library serve as a way into society, language and creativity of citizens in Botkyrka municipality. The libraries in northern Botkyrka form a synthesis between rooms, media and activities. This synthesis aime together to make citizens participate in activities concerning language, writing and learning, have impact on media offered and making different kind of culture in the library. The idea of Open stage is that citizens make performances and have discussions on different subjects on stage in cooperation with the library staff.
